Parents,
I am looking forward to discussing your child’s progress with you on Friday, October 24. I will be sending your scheduled conference time in the Tuesday folder. If you see your time will not work I will do my best to find an alternative time but my schedule is very tight with short conference times to accommodate all of my students.
** So excited for the upcoming BOOK FAIR !! Our class will preview on Tuesday at regular library time. Family night will be on Tuesday night from 5:30-8 p.m. to enjoy selecting not only your child’s choice but hopefully you can find a good reader for yourself. Shopping will continue Wednesday-Friday with our total school goal $10,000.00 this year! Please help us make our goal, if we make it there will be a fun Storybook Character Day!!!
FYI – On the St. Ann’s school site http://www.stanns.us/ under “academics” tab KA is our class site. We are in the process of building a workable site….. there will be more coming. I will make all effort to keep it informative for my families. On this site you will also find our dress code, please make all efforts to comply with the dress code. Math – Chapter 2 - Introduce 3 dimensional shapes and patterns.
Religious Studies - We will continue to read Joseph’s coat stories with discussion focus on jealously and consequences of actions.
Science - We will focus on day & night and review magnets.
Help your child remember to bring their own water bottle, which will be available throughout the day. ** Remember payments for Pizza day or Hot Dog day are separate from payments to Sanchez family for daily lunch in cafeteria…. If questions please let us know.

Have your child to complete homework themselves with little assistance, along with reading daily. Your child can be reading to you can be as easy as having them to look at pictures and tell you about what they’ve seen. ** Have them work on their memorization skills with their sight word flash cards.
